DELIVERY CHARGES
Standard weekday delivery costs just £7.99 per UK mainland address irrespective of the number of gifts you order. This includes a free gift card message.
You must order by 3pm if you require next day delivery; orders received after 3pm can be despatched on the following working day at the earliest.
Please note that the earliest that any orders placed over the weekend can be delivered is on the following Tuesday.
Saturday Delivery costs £13.99. This charge applies per UK mainland address irrespective of the number of gifts you order.
Deliveries cannot be made on public holidays.
Please note that all gifts have to be signed for on delivery.
Lords Gifts is not liable for any failed deliveries. This does not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
GIFT CARDS
You can add a gift card with your message free of charge with every gift you order.
ORDER TRACKING
You can track all orders online. Once your order is despatched you will receive an email from us giving you the identity code of the consignment. To track your order, simply copy and paste this identity code into the DHL tracking page, http://track.dhl.co.uk/tracking. Go to the 'Domestic Express page' and enter your indentity code.
NON-UK DELIVERIES
We do not offer deliveries to non-UK addresses on the website but are happy to quote these on request. Please contact us for details. Please note that we do not deliver to the Channel Isles - this zone is outside the UK mainland service we offer.
POSTCODES
Our delivery system relies on postcodes so please ensure these are provided and are accurate.
DELIVERY TERMS
Our delivery service requires that the carrier obtain a signature at the address specified. If nobody is in and a neighbour is prepared to sign for it, the gift may be left there and a card will be posted at the recipient's address to let them know which neighbour has consented to look after the gift.
Please note that no consignments will be left without a signature, so you cannot request that anything be left in 'a safe place'.
For Home Deliveries, delivery is attempted up to 3 times, with a card left on each occasion the driver is unable to complete the delivery by securing a signature. After the third attempt, the consignment will be returned to us.
For Business Deliveries, delivery is attempted once only since there is invariably someone on the premises to sign for the consignment.
If deliveries are not completed and the consignments are returned to us, we will notify you and can arrange redelivery. However, redelivery is chargeable at the standard rate of £15.98, as it has to include the cost of bringing the consignment back to us from the original failed delivery.
Although we make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated time, delays do occur from time to time albeit that this is very seldom. The time of delivery shall not be the essence of the contract and any failure by us to make delivery on any particular date shall not entitle the customer to terminate the agreement or refuse the delivery or to claim for any expenses, loss of profits or consequential loss. Acceptance will be deemed complete once the goods are signed for so any damage or shortage must be noted at this point. Please be assured that damaged or lost goods are replaced free of charge and we will always do our utmost to help resolve any queries.
